| This 16-page pamphlet is entitled "Cute Dolls as Messengers of Friendship" (Japanese Committee on World Friendship Among Children). When the Committee on World Friendship Among Children planned to send the dolls, this pamphlet was distributed together with them so people in Japan would consider the objectives of this program announced in America. The pamphlet provides suggestions about participation of the dolls in the Japanese Doll Festival (Hina Matsuri), and it describes the story about the giving of the dolls by American children. |
