The Blue-eyed Doll
Scene 8

Mr. Kato: "Ah, just a little more."

Finally, they made a narrow opening where the doll could just fit.

Mr. Sugawara: "It's narrow, please forgive us."

Mr. Kato: "Mary, please be patient."

Mr. Kato gently stroked the doll's head and then silently put her into the opening.

Then they put everything back into the bookcase, and they cleaned up the area around it so that no one would notice what they had done. When they finished everything, it had become completely dark inside the teachers' room.
