I Sewed It

On November 25, 2003, Ms. Maruyama, who lives in Sasabe, Matsumoto City, quickly provided us some new information.

Ms. Maruyama read the article "Blue-eyed Dolls" published in the Shinano Mainichi Shimbun, and she gave us a telephone call to say, "I sewed the green dress that the doll is wearing." She was the teacher of home economics at Tsukama Elementary School in 1980. Since then the doll has been on a shelf in the home economics room. This is the first piece of information sent to the school up to now, and it is great to know about the doll's dress made about 25 years ago.

We would like to trace a path back to 1927 with information like this, so we ask your cooperation.

This is an English translation of a Japanese web page.
