Rail and Steamer Ticket
for Blue-eyed Doll

Each Blue-eyed Dolls sent from the United States to Japan in 1927 had her own steamship ticket. Below is an example of Carolyn Becker, the doll at Mikuma Kindergarten in Oita Prefecture.

Some tickets were attached without a name to the bottom left of the right-hand side of the inside of the doll's passport. See following examples for dolls at Shintoku Kindergarten, Osawa Elementary School, and Hirobuchi Kindergarten.
