Letter with Doll at Shintoku Kindergarten

The following letter came with Evangeline,
the Blue-eyed Doll at Shintoku Kindergarten.

Dear Little Japanese Girl,
We hope our little Evangeline lives up to her  name and is a real "messenger of happiness."
When you come to America we hope you'll come to see our new Irondequoit Congregational Church where Evangeline comes from.
